Item up for bid is a 1970 Mustang Mach-1.
It is a project car that does run, drive, and is just a few items and time away from being street legal.
What a nice Weekend Project Driver car this is. Mostly complete, Can be road worthy and Cruzin' this Summer!!!!
I purchased the Mach-1 from a young kid that bought it as a non running basket case, he tore it apart and lost interest in it.
The VIN no. is 0F05H117040.
63C -- 3A --- -- 6 5
1970 Dearborn Sportsroof-Mach-1 351-2V
Mach-1 Wimbleton White Black -------- ------- 3:00 to 1 Wide ratio 4spd
I do have a marti report on the car somewhere.......if I find it I'll post it.
BODY:
The paint on the car is poor, doesn't look bad in the pics or cruisin down the road.
The quarters on the car are original and should be replaced, Hood is rough, Trunk is solid, Front fenders and doors have typical rust,
rear frame rails do have some rust in them.
Front frame rails, rear torque boxes and shock towers still good. Roof has some dents. Floors, Ft torque boxes, Ft frame extentions, driver outer rail, and passenger bumper supt were replaced with new.
INTERIOR:
Very complete. I'd say 70 to 80 percent of the guages, lights, accessories work on the car. Email if you need more detail.
DRIVETRAIN:
The car currently has a 351W engine with a 4 barrel intake and Holley carb. Engine does not appear to be original. It runs out fine.
I installed a new distributer, Hooker Headers, starter and tune up parts to get it running.
Transmission is a Toploader wide ratio 4 speed and shifts fine, just a little noisy in lower gears. 4th is quiet. Clutch grabs nice and its smooth. The rear end has its original 9in under it with a set of 3:00 gears.
The charging system works, the RADIATOR is NEW
OTHER:
All glass is there and in good condition.
Missing: Some Sport lamp pieces, one side window moulding, hood scoop indicators.
OPTIONS:
Power Steering, This car was an original shaker car but those items are long gone.
